God makes no mistakes. You have found our Parish Church and now you have questions.
Whether you enter via the front door, the hall door or this Website Door we hope and pray that it is exciting and a warm experience!
Well, like most parishes we see ourselves as welcoming! What does this really mean? It is demonstrated beyond the amazing people that greet you Sunday to Sunday at the door of our Worship Space. We hope and pray for you before we meet you.
Our Parish Vision One--liner is "We are a Christian Community Embracing and Spreading God's Love. " Do keep us authentic and accountable. How are we doing?
Our prayer is that one of the many Ministries that we are involved in is an activity or group that fits for you. Our wardens Ann (Rector's Warden) and Licette (People's Warden) are eager to meet you and to get to know you better. So are the assisting clergy, laity.
We pray that ours be a reconciling, transformative parish family where you encounter the living Jesus and find personal spiritual growth and community that allows you to be an integral part of the fabric. Come and see!
We have a space set aside in the entrance area of our Church especially for children and family. We believe in honoring all children and see them as equal children of God with parents, grandparents and all parishioners!
We have a parking lot between our two buildings, our Hall and Church. If you find it full on a Sunday please know that street parking is permitted in most areas adjacent to the church. The Navy base has lower staffing levels and this the lane in front of the church is open as well!
Oh, we are not overly formal so use your imaginations, have fun and do come!
You can call us at 250-386-6833. Do ask for one of our Ministry Booklets explaining all of the possible activities. We will be glad to offer you a Welcome Package! You can also E-mail us at admin@stpeterandpaul.ca or get in touch with us on Facebook.
We worship Sundays at 9:00 AM on-line with our Home Church Connections Zoom service, and at 10:00 AM we hold our weekly in-person Eucharist service in the church.
