Come and hear our guest artist play the beautiful and historic Conacher Pipe Organ at St Peter and St Paul’s Anglican Church.
Born in 2002 in Saverne (Eastern France), Nicolas Kilhoffer first studied piano at the age of 7. After teaching himself organ and playing at church from the age of 10, he was taught in his hometown music school before being admitted, in 2017 , at the Conservatoire in Strasbourg where his teachers include Daniel Maurer (organ and improvisation), Elyette Weil (piano) and Gaël Lozac'h(harmony). Nicolas will play a program of Bach, Mendelssohn, and Franck as well as his own improvisation. (Program PDF is attached.)
Our own Lawrence Surges, resident organist, will play an opening piece.
